This is a very attractive Greek or Roman style, headboard that is for a "California" King-size bed. It is both long and tall. The photos do no do it justice (taken with a low-quality cell phone camera) - it is a GOLD COLOR just like brass is supposed to be, not a silver color.

Can also be used with smaller beds (down to a full size) if you are creative. We used it with a full-size bed for several years.

Great for a really tall person because this one does not come with a footboard that would make you keep your knees bent without being able to stretch out.

We are not sure if it is 'solid' brass or not, but the price that we are asking is based on if it is not solid brass. WON'T CRACK, BREAK, BURN or get water stains or scratchs like wood does. This is something that will last forever & you can re-sell it years from now.

We're letting it go for low so that I can clear out our 2nd bedroom & have an arts and craft room - no more storing it. You will need a truck with an open bed or a van with no rear seats (cargo) to take it home - WILL NOT FIT IN ANY CAR (sorry) so please call only if you have a way to take it with you or if you will rent a truck or van.
