This Acrylic Walk in Tub is made out of the same stuff as power & sail boats, with a gell coat on the surface so it makes cleaning a breeze with no scratching. The tub door entry is left handed and the simple closing mechanism can be operated while standing or sitting. The door seal is made of compound, silicone so there is no need to worry about leakage and the bath door is inward opening so is also self-sealing. It has a built in bath seat and backrest to allow you to bathe in comfort, the water is temperature controlled for your complete comfort & safety. The taps & hand held shower are chrome, it comes with a shower rod so the tub may be used as a shower cubicle if desired. It also comes with a Hydrotherapy System to ease away aches and pains. The tub was bought for my father, but, he is in a nursing home now, so we went back to a conventional tub & shower, it is now , stored in my basement with all the attachments mentioned above.
