Both pieces recline, the lever to recline on each piece is hidden on the inside of the cushion up by the arm so you don't have to reach down to recline. Also, all the cushions have zippers in case you need to restuff if it ever goes flat. The loveseat  has a center console that lifts up for extra storage and two cup holders in front of the console. Two dark brown wooden end tables and a matching coffee table that lifts up for eating on or playing board games.
