I purchased a hand full of these handmade sterling silver pieces from a woman I knew who traveled the world for unique pieces. I have NEVER been able to find any more pieces even close to the workmanship on these. The intricate design is knit with tiny sterling silver threads. The workmanship is similar to a Victorian chain mail, but much more fine and stunning. The finding on it is heavy and beautiful in sterling silver. I only have three pieces left.75 grams This one is oxidized so that the sterling looks almost black.  I tried to capture the way that the light catches it and it looks like tiny diamonds are embedded in the silver. The sterling silver findings are heavy and beautiful. This elegant one-of-a-kind necklace measures 18" in length and it is 1" at it's widest point.  I have a matching bracelet available on this site and one wide bracelet in plain silver on my other boutique.
