The position supports prompt and accurate delivery of Insurance Contracting services to two broker dealers supported by IAN located in El Segundo, California. Specific Responsibilities: Consistently deliver the highest level of customer service and exude a customer-centric culture • Ensure representative requests, calls and e-mails are taken and responded to within department standards • Duties include performing and/or monitoring the processing of all insurance carrier appointment requests, prompt follow-up on the statuses with the carrier, and filing of the requests •Data entry and research • Stay abreast of new rules/regulations as it relates to carrier contracting across the 50 states • Interact with various State Departments of Insurance and General Agents • Must be able to manage and prioritize the daily work load • Team projects, as well as other duties as assigned. Candidate is an energetic, fast learner with outstanding communication skills and a passion for providing exceptional customer service. In addition, someone who has broker dealer experience working with a large production environment with strict service level agreement and processing deadlines. The successful individual is a team player, exudes best in class customer service skills, and has excellent organizational skills paying particular attention to detail. Great Computer skills along with verbal and written communication skills required. Detail oriented. Education Credentials: High school diploma or equivalent required and some college. Experience: At least 1+ years experience in Broker Dealer or Insurance Carrier field preferred.
