JOB OBJECTIVE
The Regional RIM Manager is responsible for the tactical roll-out and execution of the RIM policy and procedure in the field. In collaboration with the BU Regional Office Manager and the local Office Manager, the RRM creates an action plan for each assigned facility the proper management and disposition of records and information in inactive storage.
- Act a Business and Market Unit’s primary contact for RIM Programs.
- Create action plans for assigned Market Unit facilities regarding the clean-up and management of records and information in inactive on-site & off-site storage.
- Develop procedures designed to safeguard company records and information assets at the Business and Market Unit level.
- Train facility employees in control methods regarding proper recordkeeping and disposition.
- Execute annual department or facility level self-assessment exercises regarding ROM compliance.
- Monitor and report on compliance with RIM Program in assigned area through the use of metrics and other data gathering tools.
- Participate in reviews of Records Retention policies, standards & procedures to maintain accuracy and integrity of enterprise-wide Record management initiative
EDUCATION LEVEL REQUIRED
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
- 4+ years of related experience (e.g., records retention management, general finance management, office management, program management, project management, etc.)
- Experience in supply chain operations in the beverage or consumer packaged goods (CPG) industries.
- Experience in using databases to do research/provide information
- Experience in using electronic document/records repositories
EXPERIENCE PREFERRED
- Experience in monitoring and assessing compliance in the area of records retention.
- Experience in conducting legal and regulatory research regarding all applicable domestic laws affecting retention of information as records
- Experience in tactically applying records management principles and practices, specifically in the area of records retention and disposition
- Experience in front-line vendor management and quality control operations/activities
