Job Description: We are seeking a Bank Operations Department Manager in Downtown Manhattan to Support the Foreign Exchange Middle Office for Global markets, supporting their iHedge product, aspects of e Commerce setup, various trading support functions to be determined by Global markets and Operations management. Work closely with traders and sales staff in Global Markets, and key clients that are large sophisticated institutions. Insures the successful completion of all client processing, particularly for outsourced functions operated by BNY Mellon. Will work closely with systems staff to test and deploy new features in E-Commerce technology systems and services on a regular basis. Will develop and refine a strong control environment, and constantly update processes to improve the reliability of the service and system. Business Skills: * 5+ years experience in Foreign Exchange. * Knowledge of Foreign Exchange, currency settlement globally, all risks around trade processing and settlement, and a working knowledge of the trading business including the client’s requirements. * Must understand the use and be hands on operating E-Commerce technology systems and services. * Must be an experienced manager, working with customers. * Good communications skills required along with the ability to be effective in an often tight deadline environment, and have good attention to details. Education/Licenses/Certifications: * College degree is required.
