Position would act as a subcontractor to Stanton Mason & Building Repair. Stanton supplies the job site, job requirements, materials, equipment and general laborers to complete the job. Jobs range from small to medium in size, and the locations will change often between individual job assignments. All job assignments are their own contracts, so discussion of pay and job requirements are always discussed before starting. All of our work will take place in the Chicagoland area and the surrounding suburbs.

What is Expected:

> Moments of heavy lifting (stone, bricks, buckets of mortar) Working heights (on top scaffolding, roofs, etc.) – no higher than 2 stories.
> Consistent hours (8 – 12 a day) of brick laying based on job progression quotas and style of brick laying demanded by each job.
> Working in conjunction with time schedule to complete job (always discussed before start of job)
> Working simultaneously with other laborers and or brick layers depending on the scope of each job
> Job hours are determined by the subcontractor and manager before the start of the job. We are looking at 20 hours a week on a low week, and up to 45 or 50 hours on a high week.
> Pay is given weekly and always on time.


Qualifications:

> Must have experience in Masonry, construction and especially Brick Laying. Be ready to provide references of previous employment or freelance work.
> Must have reliable form of transportation to jobs.
> Must be at least 18 years of age
> Be willing to be subject to background check.
> Must carry your own health insurance and general liability insurance.
