Job Summary: This position provides an opportunity in Textron’s Thermal Protection Group for a technician with applicable experience to work on NASA’s Orion Spacecraft Heat Shield Program by manufacturing thermal protection materials. Responsibilities may include: · Filling cells with Textron’s trademarked composite resin materials. · Surface preparation and bonding composite materials. · Vacuum bagging and executing cure cycles. · Surface preparation and spray painting. · Working with cured and uncured heat resistant composite materials. · Following process documentation and recording results.
