MOD# UPRL-060JEZ, The Ruud UPRL 16 seer heat pump outside condensor uses environmental green friendly R-410A refrigerant of which contains no chlorine to help prevent damage to the earths ozone layer. The scroll compressor has a sound jacket for quiet operation. 

This outdoor heat pump will need to be matched to a inside air handler, and where the temperature gets below 28 degrees you will need back up electric strip heat. Or you can match your heat pump to a gas or propane furnace for back up heat. This is called hybrid heat. SEER is the seasonal energy effiency rating, the higher the SEER rating the less energy you use, therefore less money you pay the utility company. 

The Ruud heat pump has a conditional 10 year repalcement warranty when properly installed with a Ruud air handler, indoor coil or furnace.
