We have two beautiful litters of 100% German Angora Wool rabbits that are almost ready to go. Both litters arrived 01/07/08. Litter#1 Jan Giant's Jewel and Woolybun's Bunny Bob Wooly Pants. Litter#2 Greenberry House's Princess Rose and Woolybun's Bunny Bob Wooly Pants. Our adult buns shear between 7 and 11 ounces of prime wool every 90 days with a typical prime weight of 9 ounces. We generally keep secondary wool short especially in the summer.*FYI: Though German Angora Rabbits are bred for their ease of handling and gentle natures they are a commercial rabbit breed. They must be groomed weekly and shorn every 90 days. Rabbits typically live between 10 and 15 years. German Angoras are a large breed and require a cage of at least 30x36 as well as excercise space for optimal health.
