I was visiting Florida in March 2012 & was hospitalized while visiting. While I was in the hospital my ex- fiance' passed away & before I could return to collect my belongings from our apartment everything was given away by the management at Oakdale Village in Somerset, Ky. I didn't have a phone at this time & unfortunately have no one left in my family from Somerset that knew how to contact me. I was unable to find out if everything went to Goodwill or another second hand store or exactly what happened I'll never know. Among these things was a beautiful quilt that my mother made for me. She had cancer & passed away in Oct. 2009 & this hand made quilt I'm looking for is the ONLY thing I have left of her. Also, there would've been a box or two of indian relics that were given to me by my sister, Gayle. She also had cancer & passed away in Aug. 2002. If I could only find the quilt & the indian relics my life would be whole once again. I would be glad to pay a reward if anyone out there knows where these things are & can help get them returned to me. My email address is firstname.lastname@example.org.
Here is a description of the quilt: It has a white background with a square pattern on it. The squares are made up of lilac or lavendar pieces, white pieces, as well as a lilac or lavendar flower pattern. My mother arranged each square on the quilt in a different way combining the white & lilac colors & flower pattern within the squares. She also sewed a special patch on the inside of the quilt & she also dated the quilt with the year she made it. Please let me know if you know where any of these items are. As I said before I would be glad to pay a reward for them.
