As a quick bio, Midstates is a full-service communications firm that specializes in direct mail (magazine, catalog, stuffed letters, etc.) nationwide.  We’re family owned, very versatile in printing styles (sheet fed, cold web, heat set, digital, short run, etc.) and also have a media side to compliment – if businesses are looking for ways to diversify & cut back in print .  To maximize efficiency of distribution of the products we print, we also have an in-house postal service.    Most of our work comes from the New York / New Jersey area, but we do have clients all over the U.S. as we’ve been in business for over 100 years.

This position functions as the web press shift supervisor. The web press shift supervisor must fully understand the goals and philosophies of the company and be able to apply them to the daily operation. Position responsible for all the press operations on your shift, the daily workflow schedule, quality control, equipment maintenance, training and crew development. The web press shift supervisor must be able to make clear decisions and carry them out in a quick and professional manner. In addition to establishing and improving production standards, the role includes working with others in the company to provide the highest level of customer service.
