Small, well established allied health practice is looking for an experienced office manager to join out team. The ideal candidate has strong organizational and time management skills, is motivated, trustworthy, reliable and accountable.

Candidate must:

Be a team player that has a track record of successfully managing and leading a team of people.

Know how and be willing to perform all functions in the office including patient scheduling, insurance verification and patient check-in and check-out.

Possess superior interpersonal, oral and written communication skills.

Have experience with Electronic Medical Records and Practice Management software and be able and willing to learn software that is unique to our practice.

Possess proficient computer skills including MS Office applications and Quick Books. 

Be able to evaluate, assist in selection, installation and maintenance of all practice computer software and hardware.

Be able to monitor and attain projected goals--how to hold self and others accountable. 

Have knowledge of claims submission and medical insurance billing cycle workflows.   

Responsibilities:

Directly supervise support staff.  Must proactively manage their performance and development by providing timely feedback, performance appraisals and any corrective action if necessary.

Communicate with office teams regularly to ensure they have all necessary support and information for successful job performance.

Review, analyze and negotiate managed care contracts.

Provide monthly financial reports in a timely manner.  Must be able to create and interpret financial reports and resolve any discrepancies.

Ensure compliance with established company policies, procedures and government/Medicare regulations.

Direct marketing and promotional activities for the practice.

Listen to patient complaints, effectively resolve them and find ways to increase patient satisfaction.
