The Board of Eureka Country Commissioners wishes to enter into a 5-year renewable Professional Services Contract with a qualified natural resource professional. A substantial portion of the work will occur in Eureka County. Office space and staff support will be provided. The Commission wishes the contract to begin as soon as possible and will hold the Request for Qualifications open until a suitable individual is found. The Chairman of the Board of Eureka County Commissioners is the principal in authority for this contract. Statements of qualification should be sent to the address listed below.

The scope of the proposed work is to assist the Eureka County Commissioners to successfully deliberate on pressing challenges in natural resources management; assist with county water resource inventory; track water permitting and development activities; manage cooperative water resource investigations; assist in the development of county water resource policy; support county involvement as Cooperating Agency in mine permitting and other Federal land use actions; track, investigate and make recommendations regarding the following: changes in Federal livestock permits, fuels management projects and other Federal rangeland activities, proposed State and Federal natural resource policy and legislation; serve as Executive Secretary for the Eureka County Natural Resources Advisory Commission; and serve as liaison between the Board of Eureka County Commissioners and the Eureka County Wildlife Board. Contract range of $65,000 to $115,000 annually, dependent upon qualifications and experience.
