Description

Collaborate with Product Management to translate strategic marketing initiatives into multi-channel campaigns. Manage global LifeVest marketing communications plans and activities, including customer facing promotional material and educational tools and internal sales tools. Responsible for the creative development, production and inventory management of collateral. Responsible for convention planning and execution.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with Product Management to turn strategic marketing initiatives into integrated communication plans that include objectives, target audiences, positioning, support points, program details, budgets, and success metrics. Stay informed on industry trends and incorporate best practices into campaign/messaging plans or the LifeVest Global business.
  • Manage promotional collateral and direct marketing supply chains, including supplier selection, competitive pricing, quality of work, and inventory management.
  • Collaborate with Product Management to create comprehensive marketing collateral based on clinical indication driven market segments, including design and execution of messaging, promotional materials, sales tools, and proof sources.
  • Collaborate with international colleagues in geographies such as Europe and Asia to support launch of new tools and/or product/product features.
  • Serve as a key contributor to development of LifeVest advertising campaigns, including strategies for customer engagement, and prioritization of marketing channels, programs, and spend.
  • In collaboration with Product Marketing and International Marketing leadership, drive the development and execution of the convention strategy and tactical plans, including pre and post show promotional plans and creation of tools to support trade show strategy.
  • Work with marketing colleagues to ensure that all content is taken through proper Regulatory, Quality and Legal reviews in compliance with the Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) for Marketing Communications.
  • Develop and manage metrics to evaluate and continuously optimize ROI of marketing activities.
  • Leverage information and analytics to make informed business decisions.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by Management.
  • Role expected to have direct reports within one year.
  • Identify opportunities to improve internal processes and drive efficiency.

 

Education and/or Experience:

 

  • Eight or more years of progressively responsible experience working in marketing or communications.
  • Bachelor Degree required. MBA preferred.
  • Experience in the medical device or healthcare industry is a plus.
  • Experience with creative development process, including concept development, messaging and copy, and working with designers to execute creative vision.
  • Experience with strategy, concept development, copy, and execution of print and digital/multi-media channels including video and web advertising preferred.
  • Experience with mobile app development preferred.
  • Experience measuring campaign effectiveness and ROI and recommending adjustments accordingly.
  • Five years’ experience managing vendors.
  • Experience managing vendors on projects involving multi-media/digital communication.
  • Understanding of the print production process.
  • Three to five years’ experience managing trade shows and convention strategy or leadership in event planning.
  • Prior management experience highly preferred; prior experience supervising the work of other team members in a project management capacity required.
  • Experience working with marketing colleagues in different geographies preferred.
  • Experience with website management would be a plus.
  • The individual must be well-organized, have a high attention for detail, deadline driven, and have the tenacity to see a project from start to finish.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills are required.
  • Strong project management experience required.
  • The individual must consistently exercise good decision-making skills and independent judgment.
  • Able to meet objectives and goals within deadlines and must be able to effectively manage multiple projects simultaneously and with a sense of urgency.
  • Strong project planning and project management skills required.
  • Must be computer literate, proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Adobe Acrobat). Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite (including Photoshop and Illustrator) highly preferred.
  • Travel required (10-20%)

Language Skills: Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.

Mathematical Skills: Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.

Reasoning Ability: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
