JOB DESCRIPTION

Volume Seattle is seeking a motivated, passionate individual to be an Event Operations Intern (Part Time) to join our growing team. This position will help design creative marketing campaigns to maximize our ongoing efforts and assist in various events on an as needed basis.

We request that a candidate to be committed with a minimum commitment of three months. The successful candidate who demonstrates exceptional commitment and impress us with their high quality of work may be offered an extended contract with us. 

Responsibilities include…

Finalizing dates of upcoming events and making changes (postponing, canceling or adding events) on the event calendar if necessary       
Coordinating with the marketing team on how to approach specific groups of interest    

Proposing new ideas to improve the event planning and implementation process       

Assisting with managing on-site production and clean -up for events as necessary       

Preparing nametags, materials, notebooks, packages, gift bags, registration lists, seating cards, etc.

QUALIFICATIONS

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Highly motivated self-starter

Works well under time constraints

Has a reliable mode of transportation

Interest and/or experience in nightlife or entertainment indusry

Strong attention to detail

Ability to manage multiple priorities at the same time

Flexible availability

Knowledge of social media platforms

Marketing experience and/or knowledge
