About us: The Utah Veterinary Center is a new, specialty and emergency hospital in the Greater Salt Lake City area. The hospital opened in May 2012 and began providing 24/7 patient care for the veterinary professionals of Utah, Eastern Idaho and Wyoming. Our current professional team of specialists and emergency clinicians are looking to hire technical staff in the following areas: Emergency, Internal Medicine, Surgery, Oncology, Ophthalmology, Radiology and Rehabilitation. This is an excellent opportunity to join an experienced core of veterinary specialists, emergency clinicians and technical staff in a brand new, state-of-the-art, advanced medical facility. In addition, living along the Wasatch Front supports a beautiful and active lifestyle for a wide range of individuals. Qualified candidates must be licensed and in good standing.
Hospital Resources:
Network: As a state-of-the-art modern facility, Utah Veterinary Center functions as a wireless environment. Software management is through Impromed Infinity and has paired image management allowing for a complete (paper-light) EMR.
Endoscopy: Comprehensive Storz surgical and medical rigid and flexible endoscopy systems for surgical and diagnostic procedures.
Radiology: Diagnostic Imaging is supported by (2) Sound-Eklin radiology suites, a 6-slice Siemens Somatom Emotion 6 CT unit; 3 Tesla MR imaging and a GE Logiq P6 ultrasound.
Rehabilitation/conditioning Center: The Rehabilitation and conditioning center at Utah Veterinary Center is equipped with a full size Hudson Aquatics AquaPaws treadmill; Class IV laser and e-stim therapy equipment.
Location: Utah Veterinary Center is located minutes away from the Wasatch Mountains and world-class skiing, hiking and biking; twenty minutes south of downtown Salt Lake City, forty minutes from Park City. We are conveniently located next to I-15 for fast and efficient transportation to and from different locations across the valley.
