Planned Parenthood of the Rocky Mountains (PPRM) is seeking a part-time Nurse Practitioner (NP), or a Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM) for our Pueblo & La Junta clinics (Weds & Thurs).
Our mission is to empower individuals and families in the communities we serve to make informed choices about their sexual and reproductive health by providing high quality health services, comprehensive sex education and strategic advocacy. Since 1916, PPRM has helped women, men, and teens make informed decisions about their health and each year over 120,000 people visit our 33 health centers throughout our four state region (Colorado, Nevada, New Mexico and Wyoming).
NP/CNM duties include conducting patient exams, patient assessments, lab work, and patient education while working within PPRM medical protocols. A strong candidate will have the ability to deliver excellent patient care utilizing the medical model to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate outcomes as related to human sexuality issues and family planning. This position reports to a non-licensed manager and has access to other licensed quality management professionals at PPRM.
Applicants must meet the state requirements for licensing, demonstrate proficiency in the provision of family planning services, and love working with a wide variety of ages, genders, nationalities, and backgrounds. Must be able to work Wednesday’s (Pueblo) and every other Thursdays at La Junta. Bilingual in English/Spanish a plus!
