Sutter Center for Psychiatry which is part of Sutter Medical Center, Sacramento has been the regional leader in providing psychiatric and mental health services since 1958. This 69 bed facility provides extensive inpatient and outpatient psychiatric, mental health, and chemical dependency services. It is the only facility north of the Bay Area that provides child and adolescent inpatient care and provides the only adult inpatient eating disorder program in Northern California.
