The PT conducts a comprehensive evaluation including interpretation of documentation, evaluation of physical therapy tests, using measurement of bodily function and structure, to establish a plan of care. Implements the course of treatment using physical, chemical or mechanical agents, activities, instruction and devices for prevention and therapeutic purposes. Provides consultation, educational and other advisory services for the prevention or reduction of the incidence of physical disability, bodily malfunction and pain. The PT constantly reevaluates the patient to determine efficacy of care and adjusts the treatment plan accordingly.
