Hello

I am looking for someone local (central va) interested in converstaion, dinner, movies, music and basically life experiences.  I won't be pretensious about walks on the beach and sunsets and all that usual BS.  I have experienced all those things in a past life when I was younger and can replay them in mind if I wish.  Don't get me wrong I am still a romantic but a realist as well.  I'm looking for a new start with a new woman.  I'm not interested in re-living my past.

I have lived a full life and appreciate all the things life has offered me.  It is time to move in a more mature direction.  I have raised twin sons and am now in the middle of my life.  That being done I have elderly parents whose demise is inevitable so I face a future of family no longer being a large part of my exsistence.  I have an intimate group of friends most still involved with family so I only see them occassionally.

Dating is for teenagers and the bar scene is for one night stands and the sexually frustrated and insure.  I am not interested in any of that.  I am intersested in companionship and shared interests.

Intelligence and a dark sense of humor are a must.  Laughter is the best aphrodisiac.

I don't Skype.  I don't do facebook.  I don't even own a digital camera which is why I have no current pictures to send.  Personality means moe to me than looks, but if you find it necessary I'm sure I can get my son to take and post some pics. He has all that equipment.  I've been playing guitar for 40 years and I'm still figuring that out.

I am retired so time is on my side.  I live on a modest income but want for nothing.

I hope this gives you an adequate profile for starters.

I believe in total honesty.  This may not be the sexist profile you will read.  Like I said I beleive in honesty.  No point in wasting anyone's time.

Going out I can do suit and tie and filet mignon or nice jeans and a button down shirt and pig out on ribs.  Inside I do T-shirts ripped jeans.  I never wear sweats.

I can listen to jazz or classical, oldies and pop, punk and new wave, I just don't do country, boy bands, or lyp-synching dancer crap ala Beyonce.

I am not a sports freak, but I love my football. I am a diehard Patriots fan but I would miss a game to spend tie with you if you are not a fan.

I guess that covers all the bases for now.
