The collection is from the inventory of Penny Candy, Fresno CA.
Opened in August 1968. Now open by appointment only.

The posters in this collection are part of the sex, drugs, rock and roll history that began in the sixties. Consider investing in paper memories to fill a museum. 8,000 Boomers are turning 60 each day. The wealthiest generation in history, they spent much of it on themselves. What they may not have is the poster their Mother tore off the wall—that is now for sale and ready to be framed. We bought whatever was hot and topical from poster salesmen who passed through Fresno going to and from SF and LA. We also bought out three poster wholesalers in the seventies. The counterculture and free spirit of those days are part of this inventory. A social history of another America from 1965 to 1990. Contemporary poster reflecting the times and concert posters. The stack of flat posters would be nearly 50 feet high. There is back stock on most titles.
My estimate is more than 50,000 posters. This is an overview of the inventory.
