Item Details:This lot of Modified Corn Starch E1450 is being sold to recover funds for the insurance company. According to the seller this product was to be used by the assured in their food product but quality assurance dept have said they cannot accept on basis it could be contaminated. According to the seller this shipment was being held at the port in New Jersey ready for shipping to Swaziland when it became affected by the flood of Hurricane Sandy. According to the survey report the containers were in serviceable condition however the fibre drums had visible wetting stains to lower tier drums and in other containers visible damage to all tiers . Some of the drums on higher tiers had bulging possibly from condensation. Surveyor has stated the inner polybags appear not to have been compromised, but there is no guarantee.

Silver nitrate tests carried out on the container floors proved negative indicating that the wetting agent was fresh water. This cargo has since been removed from the containers.
