1995 Harley Sportster needs good home!!

1995 Harley Sportster 883 XL model

Less than 30,000 miles, not sure exact read due to dead battery.

As the 2nd owner I have owned it for 9 and a half years, previous owner before me was in the military it was in storage most of it's life.

Has never been crashed or laid down!!

Clear Title.

Lots of chrome and authentic Harley "fixins".

Forward controls, a lot more comfortable.

Pipes are nice and loud too :)

Reasons why I am asking WAY below blue book:

Hasn't been operated in a year.

The battery will need to be replaced, I have already tried to charge it does not hold a charge.

Will need tune up for sure and new oil.

Need truck or trailer to pick up.

Most likely will need new tires, not due to tread but just from sitting in one spot.

Tachometer is broken-most likely an easy fix looks like the hand has giggled off due to vibration.

May also need new gas tank- prob not but see the pictures...the gas tank does not leak just has bubbles in paint on top of tank.

I know it needs a little work...I am not a mechanic so I don't know how much BUT it ran very well last time I rode it. It breaks my heart to let her go but I am just to busy right now & have my hands in too many things.

Would make a great first bike for some one mechanically inclined or if you have a friend that works on bikes.

I would love to see it go to a good home where it will get used, it's a great, super fun bike and shouldn't be just sitting around.
