Well as you know gas will be $4 a gallon before too long and many people are looking at a motorcycle as a commuting option, as you should be......This FZ1 will average you between 37 and 45 MPG depending on how you drive it. That's nothing to snicker at as you spend $50 to fill up that SUV. While your considering a motorcycle for an option, you should consider the maintenance requirements that bike will need and you should chose accordingly. This bike has very little tweeks needed (except for the usual oil change of course). I mean, many bikes require valve and carb adjustments every few thousand miles, but not this one. No carbs on this baby, it's fuel injected and no adjustment needed. The valves only need checked every 16K miles! that's just great if you don't want to mess with frequent tuneups. It has a leather seat, a tank bra/cover to protect the paint, and the tires can go a long time. It has 7800 miles, never been dropped or abused. I broke it in gently and maintain it myself so I know everything you need to know about it. I use the best oil available for a thoroughbred of this type. It handles traffic like it was made for it, cutting thru it like a surgeons scalpel.
