This is new technology. Only one other in Boston area. The scooter is capable of 45mph and 40 miles on a charge.
I found the scooter on the web, waited for production to begin, received it at introductory price. Scooter arrived defective. I was able to ride it only a few blocks before the throttle went dead. Tech support from Florida was unable to correct the problem. I found an electric motor mechanic who also knows motorcycles. He quickly found and repaired the problem, paid for by EVTA, under warranty. The scooter is ready to roll.
I have decided that the EVTA is too much of a motorcycle for a 72 year old novice. I'm selling it for what I put into it. The EVTA price went up after the initial offering and the same deal would cost $3225 today and you still might need the mechanic.
