I have 35 years experience performing and composing and 20 years teaching, and have released a CD of my original compositions. I teach both rhythm and lead guitar as well as music theory. How to improvise playing lead guitar is paramount and I will also discuss composition. We will cover mostly rock and popular music styles. However if the student wishes, we will study jazz, with it’s complicated chord forms and wonderfully nuanced harmonic possibilities.
