Dawn Meek developed her passion for music as a teen in the Mecca that is Memphis, Tennessee, where she was born and raised. She has performed as a soloist, in Duos and even Multi-Level Big Bands in the LasVegas Circuit playing in top notch clubs in the hottest hotels and nightclubs. Now she rocks her talents here locally in South West Florida. Classic, Country, Disco and Jazz round out her repertoire.
Gene Federico is originally from the Boston area where he taught music and played in various venues ranging from diverse social functions to the finest restaurants, clubs and hotels in New England. Gene has been a staff musician and solo entertainer for both Norwegian & Carnival Cruise lines.
Since moving to Southwest Florida, Gene has continued performing at various restaurants, resorts and social events in the Ft. Myers - Naples area. His repertoire is varied with dance and listening music: jazz, pop, Caribbean & Island, oldies, contemporary, disco, sing-alongs, Italian and comedy. Gene is well known for his ability to stroll with his acoustic guitar and sing in both English & Italian, taking and fulfilling requests.
Together, Dawn & Gene offer one of the most extensive & diverse musical repertoires in South West Florida, covering most genres of music! The atmosphere they create is fun, upbeat and pleasing to all audiences...they are TWICE AS NICE !
