Ideal band would be a group of quality musicians who would like to expand and experiment by adding a unique style and sound to their music. My violin can do just about anything, from sweet smooth vocal-like melodies and harmonies to VanHalen/Santana-like rifs. I am extremely versatile and have played with bands from several styles including blues, funk, punk, metal, jazz, even hip-hop. I have been playing the violin for over 25 years, love to improvise, and can quickly come up with a violin part that captures the "feel" of a song. I have a pickup on my violin so I can plug into a pa, amp, effects box (lots of fun), etc. I can be as loud or as quiet as needed.
