I am considering selling my 2006 Collings CW Indian A in order to get another guitar. This guitar has been my axe for the first few years of my lead guitar playing and has seen many miles and hours played. Its still in great condition, only a few minor scratches and one small rub on the back from being in a stand on stage. The intonation is almost perfect and it plays like a dream. It has perfectly straight grain indian rosewood thats a rich chocolatey brown with red tones as well and the top is very wide grained adirondack spruce that has aged and yellowed with time. The guitar has opened up quite a bit since I first got it and it has a great warm tone typical of a rosewood. I have many memories with this instrument and, therefore, it is very sentimental to me.
