Our CISS utilizes an air-tight, light-proof bladder that collapses as the ink exits the tank. The bladder prevents “vacuum lock” without requiring breather holes. This eliminates ink evaporation, contamination, oxidation, and organic growth – preserving the color and molecular composition of the ink. We sell the sealed ink tanks in several different volumes, up to 100 times the volume of a standard ink cartridge. With our system, you never have to deal with the mess of refilling ink tanks or spillage. Simply drop your external ink tank with our pre-paid, pre-affixed postage labels into any U.S. Postal Service mailbox and they are returned to us for recycling. (No packaging is required.) In this way, we have attempted to completely eliminate waste and operate as a “green” company.

Adaptive Ink’s CIS system is a pro-series quality system, designed for business & home office use, but priced competitively with CISSs from China. Once installed, color printing costs are reduced dramatically – literally providing a penny-per-page ink cost solution. The ink tanks are completely sealed, so ink chemistry is protected for years. Tanks are available in multiple volumes (the largest set providing over 38,000 color pages per ISO IEC 24711). Avoid scams and fraud
Signs of fraud: wire transfer, money orders, cashier checks, shipping, escrow, "transaction protection", "guarantee". Be safe by dealing locally.
