Sections 114 and 315 of FACTA (The Fair and Accurate Credit Transactions Act) have been implemented. So, what does that mean to you? It means that all businesses who collect non public information on their employees or customers must be in compliance with sections 114 and 315 by November 1, 2008. OK, you ask yourself, how do I get compliant? Well you could start by logging on the Wolters Kluwer Financial Services web site and pay them $199 for a conference phone call outlining the problem and possible solutions, or you can pay other companies up to tens of thousands of dollars to bring you into compliance, or you can call me. I will come to you, explain the problem to you for free, then bring you into compliance for free. Absolutely free to the business owner and you put in place an identity theft risk management and mitigation plan which is compliant with the new rules that were put into place on January 1 of 2008. What have you got to lose? Just possibly your business if you don't act now! Call me at 888-869-6061 or e-mail me at IDRiskManager@aol.com
