(Click image for full size) This electronic security system was used less than three months. It is simple to set up and use. When a tag enters the field the alarm sounds for about three seconds. If the tag is still in the field, the alarm may sound again. Note: There is no need to reset the system after it alarms. Cannot be activated by a radio, walkman, keys etc. This Ketec EAS system is a single panel transceiver. The system functions in nearly the same way as the standard RF systems, but at a wider aisle width and requires only one antenna to operate. This system can detect tags within 4 feet (121.9cm) on either side of a single panel and if two panels are used, an opening as wide as 16 feet (4.8 m) can be protected. Another advantage of the single panel system is that the electronics do not have to be synchronized, which minimizes installation time. At a weight of only 10 pounds, the panel is definitely un-cumbersome. Specifications: Height: 60" (152.4cm) Width: 14" (35.6cm) Depth: 1" (2.54cm) Weight: 10.5 lbs. The initial cost of each system was originally $1,800 ($3,600 for the 2) (please see photo copy of original Purchase Request). We will sell this barely-used set-up for $999 each. If you wish to purchase both, we will discount this to $1900 for the 2 complete systems.
