Temp: Receptionist Extraordinaire – Kamloops - Job ID 1520
Our client is seeking a Rock Star Receptionist Administrator that is super positive and happy-go-lucky to assist their team’s day to day operations from the front end hub, preparing correspondence in Word, Excel, PowerPoint. The successful candidate will have strong communication skills and able to work in a team environment. Must have a solid background and experience with a busy switchboard fielding hundreds of calls per day, dealing with clients, associates and lots of distractions while managing to stay organized and on task! Minimum 3 years previous office administrative duties required.
The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and facilitating a productive and organized reception area.
Responsibilities Utilizing advanced Word & Excel spread-sheet skills, this extremely organized, multi-tasking super-star with a phenomenal ability to multi-task will be managing the hub of the day to day operations of the busy front end. Must be detail oriented and capable of handling distractions with ease and have lots of patience, a great sense of humour and a positive attitude with a friendly out-going demeanor.
Handle super busy switchboard. Ability to troubleshoot for some of the calls to determine what department should handle each call.
Sort mail and faxes.
Open all accounting mail (cheques) and entering them onto an excel spreadsheet.
Keep office lists updated (office phone list, home lists, etc.)
Keep the reception area tidy and free of clutter.
Other duties as required.

Strong command in all office procedures, Outlook, Internet Research and a variety of Social Media . This is a part-time temporary position but for the right individual, this could become permanent full-time!!
