Growing P&C agency seeks experienced CSR:
BASIC FUNCTION:
To service and market new and renewal accounts and provide support for the producer in processing all lines of commercial insurance. This position is the direct link with the customer for all their Property and Casualty needs and questions. The employee interacts directly with the insurance companies for placement of coverage.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Assist in making proper market selections based on a solid knowledge of the insurance marketplace, understanding of the client's needs/wants, an evaluation of the current pricing and coverage, and consultation with producer.
Ensure that insured's coverages are well written and clients receive correct information by developing and applying coverage knowledge.
Effectively negotiate pricing and coverages that satisfy the customer's requirements and help the producer maintain a high rate of account retention.
Performs or oversees all key servicing aspects of account, including billing, endorsements, certificates, premium allocations, audits, dividend calculations, schedules, follow-up on loss control recommendations.
Maintain a high level of communication with the producer, client, companies, and other departments that may be linked to the marketing and renewal of all accounts.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
-At least two years commercial property and casualty experience
-Missouri State Property & Casualty license
-Strong knowledge of commercial lines insurance products and marketing
-Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
-Above average skills in Microsoft Word and Excel
-Ability to share information and maintain confidentiality
-Demonstrated ability to work independently and in a team environment
IDEAL QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's degree in related field
Advanced skills in all Microsoft Office programs
Three or more years commercial property and casualty experience
Experience with Applied Systems Inc. software
