My client is a well-established bank, situated in Montreal, Quebec. They are looking for a Bilingual Customer Service Agent (Banking Sector). This is a 6 months contract with a very high possibility of extension. (Temp to Perm Position) Job Overview Summary: Responsible for interacting with customers to provide information in response to inquiries about products and services and to handle and resolve complaints. Education/Experience: • High School Diploma or equivalent. • 1 to 3 years customer service related experience required. Skills and Competencies: • Verbal and written communication skills, attention to detail, customer service skills and interpersonal skills. • Ability to work independently and manage one’s time. • Ability to comprehend and communicate in more than one language. • Ability to accurately document and record customer/client information. • Previous experience with computer applications, such as MS Outlook or data entry software. Major Job Duties and Responsibilities: • Resolve customers’ service or billing complaints by performing activities such as exchanging merchandise, refunding money, and adjusting bills. • Contact customers to respond to inquiries or to notify them of claim investigation results and any planned adjustments. • Refer unresolved customer grievances to designated departments for further investigation. • Keep records of customer interactions and transactions, recording details of inquiries, complaints, and comments, as well as actions taken. Education and Accreditation • Completed high school education, or equivalent work experience Qualifications • English and French expert level • Passion for helping customers • Sales and service oriented with a demonstrated ability to proactively listen, identify sales opportunities and solve problems • Strong communication skills (over the telephone and in person) • Solid computer and multi-tasking skills • Team player Work Schedule Condition: • Full-time permanent position (37.5 hours per week) • $16 to $18 an hour plus night bonus- Information will be further provided • 2 months training is provided with the $18/hr. pay • Required to be available several weekends (Saturday and Sunday) Day Training During the training period, candidates must be available for a seven week period from Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. for the theoretical training and between 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. for the practical training.
