This part‐time position reports to the Property Manager (PM) and assumes the operational responsibilities of the Front Office
when the Property Manager (PM) is away from the property or off duty. The GA ensures operations are performed according to
Value Place Brand Standards.
Essential Functions / Job Duties
Work hours may vary Monday – Friday. Saturday hours are 9:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. or 3:00 p.m. if necessary.
Oversees daily operations of the property in the absence of the Property Manager including:
Reviews and approves transmittals and other Front Office paperwork and reports.
Ensures team members have an attentiveness attitude and anticipate guest needs.
Responds are needed and consistent with Brand Standard to guests’ requests.
Inspects studios according to quality standards for cleanliness, safety and proper preventative maintenance.
Ensures the security needs of the property and guests are met.
Assists the Property or Studio Attendant in housekeeping as needed or as requested, performs laundry duties and helps
maintain cleanliness of Commercial Laundry and Front Office areas.
Responsible for the proper administration of keys.
Accountable for knowing the property’s emergency procedures.
Reports to work in uniform and maintains a professional appearance at all times. The display of body art and piercings
must is not acceptable and must be covered during work hours.
Responsible for knowing area attractions and services in order to accommodate guests’ needs.
Reviews studio inventory and works within Value Place Guidelines.
Assists PM in maintaining accounts as requested.
Prefer one year experience in hotel or apartment operations and knowledge of lodging point of sale systems. Excellent verbal
communication skills needed. Employee must speak English; some locations require bi‐lingual capability.
