DUTIES:
Requirements for contractor personnel providing administrative support shall include:
* Performing a range of administrative, logistical, and clerical duties in support of overall work of Office of Investigations.
* Utilizing modern office automation systems in performance of duties.
* Accounting for government issued property.
* Planning, developing, and coordinating administrative/management functions/operations.
The contractor personnel must posses the following:
* Ability to effectively use the Internet and other web-based technologies to perform information searches.
* Skill in working with office automation.
* Skill in ordering supplies and maintaining adequate stock levels.
* Solid grammar, composition, spelling, punctuation and proofreading skills.
* Ability to gain knowledge of required formats and local policies, regulations, procedures and standard formats for preparing correspondence.
* Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Office (i.e., graphics/presentation, database and word processing software.)
* Must have knowledge of travel and transportation policies and precedents.
This is a great chance to work with a federal agency and obtain (or maintain) a federal background clearance. Fingerprinting and successfully clearing a 10-year background check (credit, criminal, medical) are required to obtain the required background clearance.
You will be required to complete a matrix of your skills and do some online testing (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Office Filing, Typing, etc.) to confirm your proficiency.
