We are looking for retail and craft vendors for an upcoming "Sales and Cocktails" vendor event to be held at Gatsby's of Islip on October 2nd. The cost per 10 x 10 table is $75. The sale of the vendor tables will benefit ACLD - a non-profit organization that supports children with learning disabilities such as Autism. The event will take place from 7pm - 10pm - vendor set up begins at 6pm. This is an indoor event with availability for 60+ vendors. We will have the entire first floor of Gatsby's and may proceed into the second floor depending on table sales. The event is expected to attract at least 150 - 300 shoppers. Local politicians will be attending, representatives from ACLD will be representing their organization with plans for their new school to be built, there will be free wine, soda, beer and appetizers for all - vendors and patrons included. Admission is free to the public. There will be raffles from donations from the vendor tables. Vendors are NOT required to donate from their table but can do so to increase the fund raising effort to the children. It will be completely voluntary. We are expecting several radio advertising spots, a large ad in Newsday and the Pennysaver as well as all local papers. We are expecting WBAB radio station to attend. This event is expected to draw a large number of patrons and alot of sales and networking opportunity.
