The Quality Control Inspector is responsible for the everyday inspection activities. The Quality Control Inspector verify’s all incoming materials and validates their compliance to internal specifications. Verify’s all paperwork is correct, up to date and per purchase order requirements. Quality Control Inspector also maintains the in-process inspection program by verifying all in-process inspection and final inspection locations are supported in a timely manner. The Quality Control Inspector is to support the manufacturing floor with all aspects of Inspection and to ensure all products meet the highest standards of Quality per Company standards.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Skills & Abilities
· Knowledge of ISO / AS9100 and TQM.
· Able to read and interpret various mechanical drawings and blueprints.
· Understand processes necessary to conduct evaluation of mechanical / electrical components. Including proficiency with ASME-Y-14.5
· Able to utilize micrometers, calipers, scales, gauges.
· Ability to define and critically analyze problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
· Able to create and audit FAIR’s in compliance with AS-9102.
· Proficient in MS Office
· Exercises sound judgment, tact and diplomacy.
· Clear understanding of document control processes.
· Provide a professional appearance and demeanor.
· Effectively communicates orally and in writing.
· Ability to relate and interact with staff at all levels of the organization.
· Works independently and is self-directed.
· Produces work in a high quantity and quality.
