Under the direction of the Manager, the Product Engineer maintains full engineering cognizance of programs from mid-development through production. The incumbent will also be the focal point for transfer of programs from development to production. Duties include definition and documentation of A&T methodology and equipment, product redesign, spec reviews, proposal preparation, customer interface, analysis and solutions of start-up problems. The Product Engineer is responsible for the coordination of the efforts of many departments in support of the assigned programs.

Required Skills / Qualifications: BSEE with at least 2 years of experience in comparable capacity and technology. Alternatively, a BTEE with 3 years of related experience and at least 1 year of experience as a Sr. Product Engineering Technician and demonstrated abilities to function in the Product Engineering capacity.
Preferred Skills / Qualifications:
The incumbent must possess a clear understanding of the principles governing the design, manufacture, assembly and test of electrical assemblies and systems. Typical technical areas include control systems, circuit analysis, materials and electronics. The ability to coordinate and complete multiple tasks concurrently is required. The candidate must possess strong interpersonal and organizational skills along with strong analytical problems solving skills and mechanical aptitude.
