This position will be responsible for leading a product development team in mechanical and aerodynamic design of high performance rotating equipment. Technical experience should include a solid grasp of Aerodynamic Engineering related to blade design for turbo machinery. Candidates should have successfully completed engineering projects in this field from inception to production and have experience integrating a number of technologies into final motor/fan product (Aerodynamic, Motor, and Electronics). The individual will facilitate communication between Mechanical and Electrical Design Engineers along with Application Engineers to evolve the best design approach for a customer specification. This will involve contribution to the technical section of proposals in response to customer specifications. Good written and verbal communication skills are required since the individual will work directly with customers to help fully specify their product requirements, promote a design approach, and participate in various customer sponsored design reviews. The individual should be a technically competent professional capable interacting with customers and delivering a presentation representing company�s design approach. Project responsibility spans from inception of new design to shipment of final manufactured product to customer.

Required Skills / Qualifications:
BS/MS/PHD Aeronautical or Mechanical Engineering,
5 or more years with demonstrated project engineering experience related to blade design of turbo machinery with CFD and FEA analysis tools. Experience with noise and vibration desired. Prefer Military Aerospace Background
