Appears to be a Jack Russel terrier or similar mix on the road near the Kern County Refuse disposal site south of Mojave. Mostly black, with brown and white markings.  Very nice dog, friendly, no tags but has a collar.  Seems very timid. Please contact me at chris.buyer@gmail.com to get your dog back.  He was standing in the middle of the road and didn't move. I was afraid he'd get run over if I left him.  I bought a leash, food and a food dish but that's no problem.  Whoever lost him seems to have lost a very nice dog.  He should be with his owner.
