Majors Academy Dog Training uses a German-style working dog type of training that is geared towards relationship building through obedience. Positive reinforcement combined with a deep understanding of dog psychology makes Majors Academy a good choice. Here at Majors Academy we do not condone training by intimidation or punishment-base training. Instead we use positive-reinforcement in order to direct drive through praise food and play-invoked stimulation. Furthermore, Majors Academy utilizes panegyric animated handler supplied motor-actions and voice-tone techniques as the basic tools to channel positive canine responses specific to client training goals.

 The training methodologies  listed above will make certain the highest developmental level of each dog that joins. Too often dog trainers attempt to train dogs without properly educating the owner. This results in an unsatisfying situation for both dog and owner. At Majors Academy we believe that the optimum type of training is working with the owner just as much as if not more than the dog. This way the owner will learn and master the skills which will allow the owner/handler to obtain greater control of their dog in real-life scenarios while developing a better relationship with their confident, happy and healthy dog

- A 3-Week/9-Session Training program (three one-hour sessions per week $20 per session)
- In-home training offered by appointments, weekdays M-F ($30 per one hour session plus a $15 "Per session Travel Charge" 50 mile max)
