We truly love all kinds of animals. WE ARE OFFERING ONE FREE DAY WHEN YOU BOARD WITH US FOR 5 DAYS. SOMEONE IS ALWAYS HOME WITH YOUR PET, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, even in the middle of the night when there is a storm, we are there. We have no set time for pick-up or drop-offs, its whatever time or day you choose. *I would like to tell you a story about my love for animals, I grew up in Texas, my father was born and raised in Brooklyn, NY. While in Texas, 2 years ago I was working for a Kennel and well we had a bad storm hit. I was still at the Kennel and I recall a client of their's saying that her dog was very much afraid of storms. I remember telling the lady that I would be there for her dog. During the storm, I sat in the caged kennel that her dog was in and laid my head on her stomach and just petted her over and over again just to let her know that she was not alone. After it all passed we found out that a Tornado had actually gone over us while I was in the kennel with the dog. I have loved animals of all kinds my entire life and actually saved a few. We want you to know that is about your PEACE OF MIND, YOUR PETS COMFORT AND YOUR COMFORT IN KNOWING THAT YOU HAVE FOUND THE RIGHT PLACE TO BOARD YOUR PET WHILE YOU ARE AWAY. Our home is always clean, sanitized, air-conditioned, heated, bedding for pets is washed every other day to maintain cleanliness. Animal Camp is all about having fun and letting animals be who they are, and to enjoy doing what they enjoy most; getting dirty, swimming, chasing a ball, playing frisbee, or just chasing us around the yard. We offer Fun throughout the day, we have a kiddie pool, a sandbox, a completely privacy fenced in backyard on 2 acres for your pet to run and play in. We also have Hiking Trails just next door to our house, which allows us to take the dogs on short or long walks in privacy. We are Fully Insured and we are members of the ASPCA and the Humane Society of the United States. Here at Animal Camp we want your pet to have a great time. We are a family who enjoys watching your pets while you are away. I have worked in Pet Shops in the past for a total of 5 years, and have worked in Kennels (where I learned the proper way to care for pets of all kinds) from walking to giving medication. Growing up, I spent a lot of my time reading books and learning from the pro's about animals from Dogs to Fish of all different kinds. This is what we do while your pet is in our care unless you specify otherwise: Bathe, Ears Cleaned, Teeth Brushed, Eyes Cleaned and Nails Trimmed Walked 2 times a day, (once in the morning, then again at night), Each walk with be about an hour walk. Beach Fun Days (when weather permits it) will be twice a week. At the Beach we will spend 1 hour with your dog just swimming, running or just laying in the sand. They will go on hikes at least 4 times a week. Also, their toys and bedding shall be cleaned before they are returned to you. They will get to interact freely with other dogs in our care. When it is time for them to go home, they will get to go home with complimentary homemade doggy treats, just a way to say thank you. While you are away we will take daily pictures of what your dog is doing, and videos at least 2 times while they are in our care for you to view. We want you to be able to enjoy your vacation without worrying about your pet. Also, you are welcome to call any time of the day to see how your pet is doing, we'll even hold the phone to their ear so you can let them hear your voice. FOR US IT IS TRULY ABOUT THE COMFORT OF YOUR PET. I HAVE CERTIFICATION AS A PET CARE TECHNICIAN and CERTIFICATION IN PET FIRST AID/ CPR. If your dog needs to be socialized we can help with that also. I have practiced as a Trainer for many years from dogs, cats, birds, chickens, hogs, cattle, and horses. We give animals the fun, one on one attention and care they deserve at Animal Camp.
