We have a loving nutered, male, red poodle (now looks more apricot)which we got as a puppy. We have his papers and medical records. He loves laps and traveling in the car. He would love to sleep with you in your bed but we have never allowed that when it is time for us all to go to sleep. My mother who passed away a year ago was his very special friend. He needs another person who he can be a companion to. He is greiving her loss and I work full time, so he has to be home alone alot. He is throughly house broken, obeys wonderfully. Since he has lived his whole life with adults and where someone was always in the house we are looking for a companion for him who he can be with all day and who will out-live him. He is about 8 years old, Still spunky--loves to play. A senior, or older adult is a must. He doesn't like chidren, they have hurt him in the past, so we keep him in his kennel when children come over unless we can trust the children! It is hard to let him go but he really needs a companion.
He needs exercise, either playing or going for walks. A fenced back yard would be great but not a necessity after he bonds with his new friend. As you can see by the length of this add, it really is hard to let him go. So only contact us if you are that special person with a special need for a companion who will let him become family.
