This is a 1958 Chevy Viking 40. It is a 2 ton truck, 289 strait 6, manual 3 speed with dual speed hub(has a shifter on stick shift for high & low range). Windows are hand crank, no power locks, passenger window works fine, driver’s side needs help and driver’s side vent glass is missing. Metal bed. Very solid truck. I just don't need it any more. I used it to haul dirt for landscaping; I ave it hauled in for me now. Has PTO dump works good. Makes a great roofing truck. I have hauled tons and tons of shingles to the dump in it. I can send you pics of bed in air, I stole battery out of truck for my snowplow truck. Truck is perfect ably useable, could drive it home, but 50mph it about top end, speedometer & odometer do not work cable is missing. Driver front tire has a very slow leak in the tube. Also needs spring for break pedal, it stays on floor, but is easy to lift and pump with foot. Starts right up, needs oil change in engine and hydraulics. Have title, sales tax will have to be collected with title, but tax here is 6.4%, unless truck is being used for agriculture (I think). Truck is being sold as is, how is, where is. It was well maintained for the 3 years that I used it, but I have not used it for the last 2 years.
