My name is James and I am 41yrs of age. I am on a fixed income from Disability through Social Secuity. Next month I go to Arizona to have a spinal surgery, I am able to move about for the most part with mutiple 4 disc(cervical) problems. My credit is over 620 maybe more. I have bad credit because of my hospital bills took me off the market, but am slowly paying them off 1 by 1. I still owe about 12k all in medical but one small credit card.

Anyway I am looking for a home maybe next to a wooded area or off a dirt road with trees, water. I would like to purchase a home instead of rent each month. My girlfriend works and has 2 kids, we have been together now for 4years and we get along great. We have been renting in Rock Rapids, IA for 4 years now. We always pay our bills on time but of course our credit just doesn't make the cut. We need more room for her kids and would like to find a fixer upper under 30k. 3bedrm if possible. We would be able to make a 3k down and could pay up to $400 per month. If there is someone out there that could help us find a place and help that would be great. The kids don't really have a father figure in their thei lives except for me. I am or was single with no kids but the Good lord has giving me a Job to do here. I like caring for them all and am looking for help in some way. We could pay up to 7% on a Loan or mortgage. The banks like to put you in major debt and I'm not about that, they want you to borrow at least 80k nowadays with 20% down. We don't need much just a nice place to call home, so we can have a garden and I can build up my solar dream home with a cozy wood burner for the winter months. Thanks for taking your time to read.
