Contract Position: 6 months or may go up to 12 months
REPORTS TO: SENIOR MANAGER OF INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY
DEPARTMENT: Information Technology
FLSA STATUS: Non-Exempt
GENERAL PURPOSE OF THE JOB:
Performs a variety of programming, development, and data processing requirements as defined by Information Technology processes and procedures, documentation, and business requirements.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
The following duties and responsibilities generally reflect the expectations of this position but are not intended to be all inclusive.
Develops code, tests, and troubleshoots utilizing appropriate hardware, software, database, and programming technologies as defined and approved by the organization. Maintains and modifies programs via approved changes by working in conjunction with Business Analysts, Quality Assurance Analysts, and Document Manager/Technical Trainer, as well as individual Business Units and resources to add, modify, and/or delete programming logic of development initiatives as prescribed. Assists other developers in the effort to improve programs as directed. Uses logic to determine interrelationships between programs developed and deployed with new development initiatives to ensure cohesive integration into the operational environment.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
(Education, licenses, certifications, and experience required to fulfill the essential duties, include computer skills as required):
Two or Four year technical degree or equivalent education/training and work experience preferred. Four to Six (4 to 6) years of web application development required. Object Oriented Programming/Development with JAVA, HTML, JavaScript, CSS, Web 2.0, Soap, and Flash. Prefer one (1) year of development experience using FLEX 2.0. Solid experience in building enterprise level applications on the web/Internet using interactive forms, DB access, AJAX, and web services. Understanding of UML with a command of expressing use case, sequence and class diagrams. Proven track record of success in GUI development, and standards. Experience with Agile development methodologies like SCRUM (preferred), Rapid Application Development, and Extreme Programming, as well as working in a highly user-interactive prototyping mode is desirable. Excellent communications skills with an acute ability to listen attentively. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications with an ability to present and document work according to standards required. Highly organized and deadline oriented. Ability to think tactically with superior organizational skills and an attention to detail. Superior written and interpersonal communication skills with the ability to communicate throughout all levels of the organization. Motivated self-starter with ability to multi-task. Able to work autonomously with minimal supervision. Ability to manage multiple projects, deadlines and priorities in a fast-paced, ever changing and evolving work environment.

No required tasks involve greater exposure to blood, body fluids or tissues than would be encountered by a visitor. The normal work routine involves no exposure to blood, body fluids or other hazardous conditions.
